Friends may ask each other to "hold someone in the Light." The person may be ill, dealing with a difficult life circumstance, struggling spiritually, or working to serve others.
To hold a person in the Light, imagine them being held in God's loving presence and offer prayers and love for them. Holding an individual or a group of people in the Light is often a part of our practice of prayer.
All are invited to our bimonthly Community Prayer Meetings:
2nd and 4th Thursdays of the Month
Centre Meeting House
203 N. Washington
(at intersection with Piccadilly Street)
Our Community Prayer Meeting is:
- a time and place for prayer, meditation, and silence,
- with scripture, readings, song, and shared thought,
- with a wish to unite in light, life, and healing.
